hate people asking me what my major is you know that everybody thinks poetry is shit about june breezes and lonely flowers and all that bullshit. which, i mean. the only other person i've met that was a poetry major literally wrote some damn thing which involved the words "june" "breeze" and "whispering". i wish i were exaggerating. no wonder people hate poetry. if that's poetry i fucking hate it too. man.

my fiction writing I teacher said something to the class about he hates poetry majors. and i can't blame him. i dunno if he knows i'm a poetry major or not; i haven't told him, but i think it says on the class list. everything that i've turned in to him has been about drugs and sex. well, that's pretty much all i write about, any damn way. wonder what he thinks of that. oh, and i turned in a big fat rant about idiotic white boys talking about how they can't relate to characters in toni morrison books. maybe if you're lucky i'll post that up here later.

i don't know what i should major in. i think i'll stick with poetry, probably, but i don't know for sure.
